Francis Ford Coppola Interview (2009) 20 mins
At Cannes 2009, Cinémoi caught up with legendary director Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather, The Conversation, Apocalypse Now) to talk about his latest film Tetro.
Set in Argentina, Tetro is a passionate saga about creativity and family rivalry across generations of Italian immigrants. The film incorporates a stunning cast, including the beguiling Maribel Verdú (Pan's Labyrinth, Y Tu Mamá También), the great dame of Spanish cinema Carmen Maura (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Volver), and most notably the controversial Vincent Gallo.
An independent and personal work, this is Coppola's first film to be screened at Cannes since Apocalypse Now scooped the Palme D'Or In 1979, and the buzz is flowing…
THE SCREENING ON 18th JUNE 2009 at 8:30PM IS FREE VIEW - THIS PROGRAMME IS ACCESSIBLE TO ALL SKY VIEWERS
