Young candidates face off in the François Paoli Foundation's boxing gym. Tino Marmara hangs on for as long as he can, under the watchful eye of Sandra. Everything is going like clockwork and he is expected to hold on for nine rounds. But Tino collapses in the fourth, and is later shot down in the street.

After a young policeman picks up the bullet, the murder weapon is identified and it is a development that intimately concerns the Paoli family. Meanwhile Jean-Michel has prepared a dangerous plot with his Italian accomplices. The target is a renowned bank, a mission with high risk but equally high reward if the plan can be carried out to perfection. However Jean-Michel’s wife Marie-Luce has a secret premonition.
