Philippe Lioret presents this romantic comedy in which a chance encounter changes the life of two people. Claire (played by the highly esteemed Sandrine Bonnaire) has a successful career and a comfortable marital life with 2 children. Pierre (Jacques Gamblin), a freelance actor, is part of an acting troupe called ‘The Unpredictables’, that randomly act out scenes in public. Despite these obvious lifestyle differences, Claire and Pierre have a brief love affair that develops into something deeper with inevitable life altering consequences... Lioret’s unique ability to depict the development of strong relationships in the face of difficult circumstances has been one of his cinematic strengths, which can be witnessed in his two recent successes Je vais bien, ne t'en fais pas (Don’t worry I’m fine) and Welcome. In his third feature, Lioret presents a refreshing and credible look at a love affair with the help of the convincing chemistry between Bonnaire and Gamblin.
