Yvan Attal performs a cinematic hat trick as he writes, directs and stars in this film with real-life wife, Charlotte Gainsbourg.

Attal takes the role of a sports journalist, who becomes a spectator of the cinematic world when his wife (Gainsbourg) gets a role in a movie in London alongside a suave actor, played by the evergreen and effervescent Terrance Stamp. Petty jealously and quick tempers are accordingly unleashed...

Viewers will be left questioning the autobiographical elements of this film (particularly as the characters share the same first name as their actors), which are manipulated with subtlety and wit. Attal chimes of Woody Allen at his best in his performance of a man full of doubt and neurosis, while the ever watchable Charlotte Gainsbourg absorbs the viewer, once again demonstrating a mastery of comic timing.
