The Hurt Locker, a suspense filled thriller about a bomb disposal unit in Baghdad, has challenged audiences with its convincing look at modern warfare. With more than 44 prizes under its belt and substantial Oscar speculation, Kathryn Bigelow has arguably directed the most acclaimed film of 2009. This interview also features the film’s writer Mark Boal, a journalist whose experience with a bomb squad in Iraq formed the basis of this film.

Betty White who has been endearing audiences for years (most notably in the Golden Girls) talks about her experiences on the set of The Proposal. This romantic comedy is the story of a dynamic book editor (Sandra Bullock, whose performance received a Golden Globe nomination), who, at the risk of deportation, claims to be married to her long suffering assistant (Ryan Reynolds).
