Gangsters

Former policeman Olivier Marchal (‘36’) wrote and directed this tale of undercover detectives Chaievski (Richard Anconina) and Nina Delgado (Anne Parillaud, Nikita) who want to expose two corrupt members of the Parisian Police Force. Under the guise of gangster and prostitute, Franck and Nina participate in a horrific hold up that leaves seven people dead. The two are placed in custody but are step closer to revealing the suspect cops who were also implicated in the robbery and are willing to do whatever it takes to get their loot back.

Marchal combines his own experience, the use of flashbacks and pugnacious violence to create an authentic crime thriller, proving the transition from real life to the screen world a fructuous one as he has dominated the police genre in French TV and cinema for over a decade.
