Festival season is officially here! The Cinémoi team made our way through the parties and festival grounds at this year's Weekend 1, and these were our favorite Coachella 2018 moments:

Jeremy Scott:

Iconic creative director, Jeremy Scott steals the spotlight in Palm Springs and reveals H&M's new collaboration with fashion house Moschino. We are looking forward to this new match made in heaven, where American consumer culture like McDonald's handbags meets affordable pricing. Self-included, everyone and their mother will be standing in line when the collection drops on November 8th. Need we say more?

Cardi B:

Pregnancy did not stop this hot Bronx Mama's performance at Coachella Weekend 1! Cardi B effortlessly owned the stage and brought 21 Savage, YG, G-Eazy, Chance the Rapper, and Kehlani as a treat to this year's desert party. For all of you festival-goers showing up for weekend 2, congratulations in advance. You know where she at, you know where she be.

Beyonce's performance was so iconic the festival is now being called BeyChella by many. The show started began with horns... and then Queen Bey was joined onstage by approximately 100 dancers, singers and musicians. Beyoncé was originally meant to perform at Coachella last year, but she rescheduled after becoming pregnant, and her performance was definitely worth the wait. She was also joined onstage by her husband, Jay-Z and her sister, Solange, and then came the biggest surprise: a Destiny’s Child reunion!

This party has quickly become the hottest party in the desert. For starters, the venue is incredible, the music lineup is awesome, the guest list is well-curated, and the vibes are reminiscent of a never-ending summer.  The event is held at a private estate in La Quinta, just five minutes from Coachella. Guests have full access to the mansion, guest house, pool house, horse stables, horse track, pool and lake. Take a peek at the music lineup for this year, below!

Plus Special Guests! Last year, Future, Migos, Skrillex, D.R.A.M., Rick Ross stopped by to party. DJ sets by: Chase B., TACO, DJ OHSO, Cozy Boys, Brittany Sky, Noodles, Siobhan Bell, Kitty Cash, DJ Honey, DJ Millie and DJ Pookie.

    Neon Carnival:

Always a Coachella party staple, Brent Bolthouse's Neon Carnival was back again this year and it was the same celebrity playground as we're used to, at a new location. Levi’s Neon Carnival, sponsored by Tequila Don Julio, drew Paris Hilton, Sean Combs, Nina Dobrev, French Montana, Jamie Foxx, Alexander Wang, Hailey Baldwin, Chance the Rapper and more.

Puma x Fenty:

Music's favorite bad girl through one of the best parties in the desert this year as well. The Fenty x Puma party was held at the Merv Griffith Estate in Palm Springs, Calif., where the Rhianna threw a garden party, complete with ATVs, to celebrate Puma x Fenty spring styles.

The Weeknd:

The Weeknd performed as this year's first headliner after releasing a surprise new album, My Dear Melancholy, earlier this month. Mr. Abel Tesfaye began with his hit “Pray for Me” followed by a set including a “Secrets “Can’t Feel My Face” medley, “Call Out My Name,” and more. Which was your favorite part of the show?

Eminem definitely likes to push buttons... and boundaries for that matter.  The headliner closed down Coachella with a raw display of emotion, a full band, and not to mention, guest appearances by Dr. Dre, 50 Cent and Skylar Gray. He always knows how to have a good laugh at himself, too. After a "mean tweets" intro by Jimmy Kimmel, Em asked the crowd, "Coachella, can I take you back to a time when I was actually dope?" His answer was in the form of his 1999 breakthrough hit: "My Name Is". Bravo, Slim Shady, bravo.
