Cinémoi presents exclusive coverage from the world's most prestigious film festival. Part 7 of 7.
In the final episode of Cinémoi’s exclusive Cannes coverage, we round up all the winners of this year’s festival, including the winner of the coveted Palme d’Or, Terrence Malick’s The Tree Of Life.
Firstly we speak to director Christophe Honoré (Dans Paris) about his new film Beloved, which is the closing ceremony film. We also meet the stars of the film, including Louis Garrel (The Dreamers), Ludivine Sagnier (Swimming Pool) and Chiara Mastroianni (Les Chansons d’Amour), as well as the film’s composer Alex Beaupain (Dans Paris, Les Chansons d’Amour). Beloved also stars the legendary Catherine Deneuve (Belle de Jour, Potiche).
We also have an exclusive interview with actor George Pistereanu, who talks about his role in the Romanian director Catalin Mitulescu’s latest drama and second feature film, Loverboy, which was described as ‘a sunny love story with a dark side’.
Meanwhile, Izzy Lawrence takes us for a stroll around Cannes at night, seeing how the vibe changes, from the business deals of the day to the wild, invite-only parties of the evening.
Finally, we hear from the jury about choosing this year’s winners, and of course we find out who all the top prizes were awarded to.
On top of all this, we have all the latest buzz, glamour and fashion from the red carpet.
Cinémoi Cannes is brought to you by Renault, the official sponsor of the Cannes Film Festival.
